After an accident: what to do
What to do after an accident or damage, and what insurance does not cover — under our contract.
Our cars are insured, but for the insurance to work it matters what you do on the spot.
Right away
- Make sure everyone is safe. If help is needed, call 112.
- Call us at once — the number is in the contract.
- After an accident, call the police on 112 and notify the insurer.
- Don't leave or move the car until the police arrive or the insurer allows it.
- Photograph and film the scene from all sides and send it to us and the insurer.
What insurance does not cover
Under the contract, insurance does not cover, among other things:
- off-road driving;
- driving while drunk or with serious traffic violations, including speeding;
- a driver not named in the contract;
- tyre damage, and with an excess policy also the windscreen, mirrors, wheels, interior and underbody.
Full terms are in the rental contract, which you can read before booking.
